Ever since I was a little girl, I have been wishfully thinking of all the things a little girl could want... And when I wished and worked hard enough, I usually got what I wanted... And here it is... My own studio, to bring my imagination to the real world. |

At first, I was most interested in
wheel-thrown pottery, but, after a few years and many hours hunched
over a potter's wheel, my back wouldn't hold out any longer. I began
(through pain) to see handbuilding as a way to continue with my hobby.
It has been 10 more years now and I am still potting along
handbuilding... |

My
name
is Caron Baker-Wike and I've been doing pottery for the past 26 years.
I started taking pottery as an art credit in college because I always
wanted to find out more about it (and an art credit was required for my
degree in business.) It has stuck with me as an enjoyable and relaxing
pastime.
